Rex Ma won Hong Kong ICT Awards 2021
Award winner Mr. Rex MA Chun Hung (IBBA, 2021) and the showcase of ‘Dr. Body-Scan’.
We are delighted and proud to announce that Mr. Rex MA Chun Hung (Integrated BBA, 2021), teamed up with Mr. Jackal XU Zhenda from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, has won the Student Innovation Grand Award with project named ‘Dr. Body-Scan’ in the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2021. The Grand Award was presented by Dr. David Chung, the Acting Secretary for Innovation and Technology of the Innovation and Technology Bureau during the award ceremony held on 29 November, 2021.

Dr. Body-Scan is a professional medical infra-red analyser that is tailored for 3D evaluation of scoliosis. By using infra-red imaging technology and AI algorithm, this analyser performs effective scanning and provides medical staff and patients with three-dimensional information of the spine. With its low-cost and non-radiation equipment, it is believed that this innovation will create positive impact to the society.
