CUHK Business School successfully held an event in collaboration with the Strive and Rise Programme, which was dedicated to serving secondary one to three students from underprivileged families. The programme aims to help these students broaden their horizons, set goals for their future, and strive for upward mobility.

The event started with a sharing on the topic “The Power of Positive Thinking” by Dr. Fred Ku, Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies at CUHK Business School. He inspired participants with three words: Passion, Goal, and Action. Through Dr. Ku’s childhood and the path of pursuing his dream of being a professor, he expressed the importance of finding one’s passion, setting a goal and then further striving for it.

Following Dr. Ku’s motivational sharing, visitors were able to walk around the CUHK Business School and listen to the sharing of our business students. Participants also had the chance to experience innovative virtual reality (VR) during the campus tour.

The event concluded on a high note with insightful discussions between CUHK Business School students and the Strive and Rise Programme participants. CUHK Business School is proud to be a part of this initiative and contribute to the next generation.
