Women@Dior Mentoring Programme 2024
Since 2017, CUHK Business School has partnered with Christian Dior for the Women@Dior Mentoring Programme. This year-long worldwide programme aims to empower female students in realising their full potential in professional settings. The Programme is built on five core values: Self-Care & Self-Awareness, Autonomy, Creativity, Inclusion, and Sustainability. Each student is matched with a Dior professional as their mentor, whom she will be able to talk to and receive advice from during the duration of the programme.
On 26th April, eight CUHK Business School participants from the 2024 Women@Dior cohort had the privilege of attending the Programme’s Welcome Event hosted at the Dior Academy. The students had the opportunity to meet with, and learn from, management and representatives from Christian Dior Couture.
During the event, student mentees received a warm welcome from Mr. Jean-Baptiste Debains, President Asia Pacific of Christian Dior. The event also featured insightful talks on career development and women’s empowerment, delivered by Ms. Debbie Lu, Managing Director – Hong Kong and Macau, and Ms. Helene Lam, Regional Learning and Development Director. Students also had the opportunity to meet their mentors who come from a range of expertise including fashion styling, merchandising, sales, e-commerce, and information technology. Finally, they explored the luxury fashion industry by visiting the Christian Dior store in Central.
Hannah Cheng (GBS/ Year 2)
“It is my pleasure to join the Women@Dior Mentoring Programme and I am so grateful to be one of the mentees of the programme. Through the welcome event, we had the opportunity to know more about the career journey of Dior’s senior management, which inspired us to strive for our goals. Also, the chance to talk to Dior talents and visit the store was truly a rewarding experience for me, as I gained a deeper understanding of the luxury retail industry. I am excited to embark on the one-year journey with my mentor and other fellow mentees.”

I believe the programme can not only enrich my personal growth but also create a community of determined ladies committed to driving positive change. Looking forward to learning from the informative lectures and gathering with my mentor and other mentees!”
