CUHK Business Students Take Home Awards of Excellence in the Citi-HKCSS Community Intern Programme 2020
The Citi-HKCSS Community Intern Programme (CIP) is a platform for students to bridge the gap between real-world experiences and classroom knowledge. Through serving the local community’s social welfare, and expressing compassion for those in need, students enhanced their sense of social responsibilities and their problem-solving abilities, and are ready to emerge as future business leaders.
This year, 26 students from CUHK Business School participated in CIP and 7 of them were presented the “Awards for Excellence” and 1 of them was awarded the “Grand Award for Excellence” at the Citi-HKCSS Community Intern Programme (CIP) Recognition Ceremony on 30 October 2020, to appreciate their outstanding accomplishment which brought substantial benefits to their placement organisations. Prof. Andrew Ng (Assistant Dean, Undergraduate Studies) also attended the Recognition Ceremony to show support and appreciation for the students’ contribution to the local communities.

The Grand Award for Excellence was presented to Tsang Chiu Yin (International Business and Chinese Enterprise, Year 2) for his remarkable contribution at the TWGHs Jockey Club Ngai Chu Integrated Vocational Rehabilitation Centre. During the two months of internship at the Centre, Tsang Chui Yin worked on client sourcing projects with suitable production work carried out by persons of disabilities, as well as producing marketing campaigns for the centre’s festival products and restaurants.
