First-Year GBS Teams Triumph in Business Administration Paper 2024 Competition as Champion and Second Runner-Up

At the end of February, 2 teams of Global Business Studies (GBS) students from CUHK Business School achieved first and second runner-up positions in the Hong Kong Federation of Business Students (HKFBS) Business Administration Paper 2024 Competition.
The Business Administration Paper competition, annually organised by the Hong Kong Federation of Business Students, is a prestigious event attracting a large number of participants from universities across Hong Kong. This year, J.P. Morgan served as the Titled Sponsor and has attracted over 70 teams competing under the theme “Humachine Synergy – AI and its Impact on Industry.” Participants were tasked with developing innovative solutions for a leading company, harnessing the combined power of human creativity and artificial intelligence. Following a rigorous selection process, 5 teams reached the final round, where they presented their business proposals to a distinguished panel of judges comprising senior J.P. Morgan executives, prominent university professors, and successful entrepreneurs.
“We would love to express our heartfelt gratitude to J.P. Morgan and HKFBS for organising BA Paper 2024 and providing a platform for us to showcase our innovation and business acumen. Though the process wasn’t easy at all, it was totally worth it—- we have received so many valuable advice from the judges and developed incredible friendship with other participants throughout the competition. The BA Paper journey has been a transformative journey, and we had a wonderful time with it!”
