Internships
Internship provides students opportunities to gain valuable on-the-job training and an in-depth understanding of different industries before graduation. Successful internship experiences may also open up future career prospects. Over 90% of CUHK Business School undergraduates have undertaken internships before graduation. There are two main formats of internship: Semester Internship and Summer Internship.
Semester Internships
Full-time
This type of internship offers students an intensive exposure to different career options. Students suspend their study for one or two terms and totally immerse themselves in their chosen field at a local company.
Part-time
Students can take up internship on a part-time basis during the academic year, with less than 18 hours of work per week. This allows them to work flexibly and enrich their exposure at the same time.
Summer Internship
Summer internship allows student to take up employment between June 1 and August 31. Students can gain experience relevant to their field of study and enrich their profile without any interruption to their studies.
