CUHK Business School Open House 2025: A Resounding Success!

On 4 July 2025, Undergraduate Office of CUHK Business School proudly hosted the Open House 2025, welcoming more than 450 participants, including educators and students from 15 secondary schools, as well as 2025 DSE students who are interested in our undergraduate programmes. This event aimed to provide prospective students with unique and immersive experience, offering insights that go beyond those available at Information Day and the Taster Fair.
The day began with an inspiring admission talk by Dr. Fred Ku, Associate Dean (Undergraduate Studies) of CUHK Business School. Dr. Ku delivered a comprehensive overview of the School’s academic excellence and distinctive offerings. Following this, student leaders Caroline Lee (GLEF, Year 3, CUHK Business School Student Ambassador) and Eunice Wai (IBCE, Year 3, Executive Committee Member of CUHK Business School Case Competition Team 2025-26) shared their personal journeys, highlighting the diverse and enriching opportunities that define student life at CUHK Business School.

After the talks, participants joined a series of parallel sessions designed to deepen their understanding of the School’s undergraduate programmes. At the Programme Showcase, attendees engaged directly with Programme Directors and student leaders, gaining valuable insights into the academic pathways available.

Participants were also excited to join the interactive workshops, including VR experiences, Aroma Challenge, and Coaster Drawing, which offered them a hands-on glimpse into the School’s innovative spirit. A guided campus tour was also designed for the participants, allowing them to appreciate the beauty of CUHK’s campus and get a taste of the vibrant student life.
One of the day’s highlights was the Support Station, a welcoming space where DSE students could ask questions and receive practical advice as they awaited their results or prepared for university life. Our student leaders who had experienced the DSE themselves were on hand to share real stories and helpful tips, offering support during this important transition.
