CUHK Business School GBS Student Awarded the Prestigious Hong Kong Jockey Club Undergraduate Scholarship

We are delighted to congratulate Ingrid Lee Cheuk-wing, (GBS, Year 1) (far left), on being awarded the prestigious Hong Kong Jockey Club Undergraduate Scholarship. This highly competitive honour recognises students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and a strong commitment to creating positive change in society, qualities that Ingrid embodies with distinction.

Ingrid chose to pursue Global Business Studies at CUHK Business School with a clear vision: to gain exposure beyond traditional lectures and immerse herself in a dynamic, globally oriented learning environment. Her academic achievements reflect her dedication to excellence and her eagerness to apply knowledge in meaningful ways.

Despite being in her first year, Ingrid has already made a strong impression by representing CUHK Business School in various competitions. Most notably, she led her team to championship victory at the HSBC-HKU Hong Kong Business Case Competition 2025, where she demonstrated exceptional creativity, analytical acumen and leadership in solving complex business challenges.

Ingrid’s participation in various competitions has not only refined her entrepreneurial mindset but also sparked a range of innovative ideas that she hopes to bring to life. Drawing inspiration from these experiences and leveraging the interdisciplinary skills gained through her GBS studies at CUHK, she is now laying the foundation for her own startup.  Her vision is to create eco-friendly, innovation-driven products that address real-world environmental challenges. By combining strategic business thinking with a deep commitment to sustainability, Ingrid aims to build solutions that make a tangible impact and contribute to a greener future.
