To support students in exploring different career pathways within the banking industry, the CUHK Business School was delighted to host the “Networking Evening with Citi: Meet Alumni & Explore Careers” on 11 March, which connected our students with CUHK alumni in Citi.

The evening began with an overview of Citi’s business landscape, highlighting the bank’s core businesses and talent development opportunities for students targeting summer internships or graduate placements.

Following the overview, there was a panel discussion featuring our alumni from Citi Private Bank, Citi Commercial Bank and Citigold. Alumni shared their own experiences from university to workplace, skill sets valued in their respective roles, and the realities of working in different banking functions. The discussion encouraged students to reflect on their own career goals and preparation strategies.

The evening concluded with an interactive networking session, where students engaged in small-group conversations with Citi representatives, allowing participants to deepen their understanding of the industry, seek personalised advice, and establish connections that may support their future career development.
