CUHK Business School Open House 2026

On 2 July 2026, the Undergraduate Office of CUHK Business School proudly hosted our second Open House, welcoming over 350 participants, including educators and students from 21 secondary schools, alongside 2026 HKDSE candidates exploring our undergraduate offerings.

This year, we shaped the entire event around the theme “Fall in Love with CUHK Business School”. Falling in love with our School isn’t just about admiring our programme or scenic campus. It is about stepping onto a path of personal growth – learn to love yourself, love your dreams, cherish your passions, treasure your friendships and embrace your own transformation.

The day kicked off with an engaging admissions session led by Dr. Fred Ku, Associate Dean (Undergraduate Studies) of CUHK Business School, who highlighted the School’s academic strengths and distinctive offerings, helping students connect with what they truly want to study. Next, Dr. Rosette Leung, Co-Director of the Global Business Studies Programme, delivered a captivating mini-lecture on the booming “Meng” (Cute) Economy, offering participants a true taste of the dynamic learning environment at CUHK Business School.

Adding to the momentum, student leaders Caroline Lee (GLEF, Year 4, CUHK Business School Student Ambassador), Vanessa Lu (IBCE, Year 2, Student Representative of the Undergraduate Mentorship Programme), and Lauren Ho (IBBA, Year 3, Executive Committee Member of the CUHK Case Competition Team 2025-26) took the stage. They shared their personal growth and highlighted the rich variety of opportunities that define the student experience here.

Stepping outside the lecture hall, participants explored a lineup of indoor and outdoor activities to learn more about CUHK Business School. During the Programme Showcase, participants connected directly with Programme Directors and student seniors to gain insider tips and guidance on the academic pathways available.

Participants were also excited to join the interactive workshops, putting their senses to the test in the Aroma Challenge or creating personalised crafts at the Lacquer Fan Painting station. A guided walking tour of the campus gave them a chance to take in CUHK’s scenic surroundings and experience the vibrant atmosphere for themselves.

A major crowd-pleaser was the Support Station, where participants could grab a snack at the Sweet Corner, try their luck with the Gacha machine, or cast a wish into the Heart Installation. For HKDSE students anticipating their results, this space offered a relaxed setting to chat with senior students who had walked the same path, picking up practical advice and encouragement for this important transition.
