Business Leadership of the Future Programme: Building Skills for a Global Future

On 17 and 18 January 2026, the annual online learning programme – The Business Leadership of the Future – successfully completed its 4th edition, gathering high school students from over 20 nationalities spanning Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania. This international and culturally diverse cohort joined an intensive two‑day online learning experience, showcasing CUHK Business School’s dedication to fostering a global, multicultural learning community.
The two-day programme provided participants with a valuable glimpse into our world-class business education, covering essential topics in consulting, marketing, and sustainability in business.

Dr. Fred KU, the Associate Dean (Undergraduate Studies) of CUHK Business School, introduced how businesses create responsible values through sustainability.

Dr. Rosette LEUNG, the Associate Director of IBBA Programme, CUHK Business School, shared how strategic leaders shape organisational vision and manage critical functions to drive performance.
To give our participants deeper insights into studying abroad and campus life at CUHK Business School, Samantha KWEE (PACC, Year 3), an international student from Indonesia, and Joyce LI (BBA‑JD, Year 2), a local student, shared their personal journeys. They highlighted how they actively take on student leaderships roles and participate in extracurricular activities to broaden their horizons beyond academics.

Samantha KWEE (PACC, Year 3) shared useful tips for students preparing to study abroad at CUHK Business School.
The two-day programme featured a mini case competition, in which students from diverse backgrounds collaborated to apply their problem‑solving skills to a real local start-up case. They were tasked with deciding whether the company should pursue global expansion or maintain its current position in Hong Kong while preserving its competitive edge.
It was a fruitful experience that helped students build lasting friendships while developing the mindset of a balanced, profit-conscious decision-maker in business.
Thank you to our dedicated team and student helpers for their tremendous support. Our profound thanks also go to the high‑school students for your active participation, energy, and hard work throughout these two days.
As we continue to build a diverse learning community and nurture the next generation of business leaders, we look forward to welcoming more enthusiastic students from around the world to join our business school family!
